1. Put yourself in the shoes of the disciples. How do you think you would be feeling just hours or days after Jesus’ death and resurrection?
2. Read Matthew 28:16-17. What would your reaction be to Jesus appearing on the mountain in Galilee?
3. In verse 18, Jesus seems to be comforting his disciples by saying, “I’ve received all authority in heaven and on earth.” What does this authority mean?
4. Read Matthew 28:19-20. What does it mean to “Go and make disciples of all nations?” How does this command relate to us today?
Making disciples is all about helping people fall in love with God, inspiring them to grow in their love of God and neighbor and challenging them to share that story for the sake of multiplying disciples. How do you see this playing out in your life? How do you see this being lived out in the life of Assurance? How do you see this model being used in the church universal?
