Matthew 13:1-9; 18-23
1. Why do you think the Super Bowl is so popular? Why has it become a national and global phenomenon?
2. In football (and any other team sport), to “get in the game” we have to be willing to bring our best to the playing field. How does this relate to our faith? How do we bring our best to God’s mission and purpose for our life? How does this relate to working with others as they bring their best as well?
3. Read Matthew 13:1-9; 18-23: Where do you think you are in this story? As Sundays message discussed, are you The Intercepted (vs. 19), the Butter-Finger (vss. 20-21), the Fumbler (vs. 22), or the Dependable (vs. 23)? If you do not see yourself as the final option, what steps do you need to take to get there?
