All the places to go
How will you know?
Beginning on September 12, at 10 am in room 100 (at the Coffee bar in the basement for the first week), our W.O.M.E.N's group here at Assurance will be studying "All the Places to Go" by John Ortberg. This women's group is focused on forty-five and above aged women as a study and accountability group. "Rarely in the Bible does God command someone to "stay". Instead, he opens a door and invites us to walk through it-- into the unknown." Walk with Merrianne Zietlow and other women just like you who are answering the calling and making that next step.
All are invited to a new Tuesday “Lunch Bunch” Study, beginning September 12th, from 11:30am until 12:30pm, in the basement. This 10-week study will be using James MacDonald’s book, Lord. Change. Me. Karen Gray will facilitate the study. Please bring your own lunch and join us! For more information or to register, please contact Karen at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Reason for God
From October 11 until November 15, at 10am in Room 100, Pastor Lonnie will be facilitating Tim Keller’s study, The Reason for God. The study addresses the frequent doubts that skeptics, and even ardent believers, have about religion. Using literature, philosophy, real-life conversations, and potent reasoning, Keller explains how the belief in a Christian God is, in fact, a sound and rational one. All are invited to participate! For more information or to register, please contact Lonnie at email@example.com.
Advent in Song: The Wednesday morning Advent study will explore a variety of Advent and Christmas hymns and how these hymns enrich our understanding of the season. This class will begin November 29 at 10am in Room 100. All are invited to participate! For more information or to register, please contact Susannah at firstname.lastname@example.org.
